Parents ask us

Is there a pass mark?

No – like all Cambridge YLE exams, Movers has no pass or fail. Children receive one to five shields per skill on their certificate.

How is Movers different from Starters?

Movers is CEFR A1: recordings are longer, stories have a past-tense plot, and children write words rather than just tick boxes. It roughly doubles the vocabulary of Starters.

What are the AE4U Mock Tests?

Ten original full tests written by our teachers, one vocabulary theme each (animals, food, school…), in the exact Movers format – great for revising a topic and sitting a full exam in one go.

What comes after Movers?

A2 Flyers – or, for confident 10–11-year-olds, some schools go straight to A2 Key for Schools (KET). Our Flyers tests are the natural next step.
