Meet the teacher
AllEnglish4U is created and maintained by Haeng Bui, an English teacher living in Canada.
Academic background
Haeng holds a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language, specialising in English for Science, Engineering and Technology. Before moving to Canada, she spent three years as a university lecturer.
The exam journey, first-hand
Studying, testing and immigrating through English is not theory for her – it is exactly the road she travelled to become a permanent resident of Canada. The site’s advice on IELTS, CELPIP and the Cambridge ladder comes from someone who has sat on the candidate’s side of the desk.
More than 5,000 students
Through classes and AllEnglish4U materials, over five thousand learners – from six-year-olds preparing for Starters to adults chasing Band 7 – have studied with her. Messages sent through the contact page go straight to her, and she answers them herself.
Why this site exists
Before and after moving to Canada, she kept meeting the same problem among learners and parents everywhere: plenty of exam books to buy, almost nothing explaining what to actually do with them, and quality preparation priced out of reach. So she started writing practice tests from scratch, following each exam’s official format question by question, and publishing them free. A test your child has already memorised measures nothing – so nothing here is a copy of a past paper.

Why free – and what the small fees pay for
Every lesson and practice test on this site is free, and will stay free: how well you prepare for an exam should not depend on your budget. Two things keep it that way. The optional Writing and Speaking Examiner reports, and the teacher-reviewed placement tests, carry a small fee – because unlike a practice test, each one is marked against the official band descriptors and then personally reviewed by the teacher before you receive it. That fee, and the “Buy me a coffee” button for anyone the free materials have helped, fund everything else on the site. Neither is ever required to study here.
