💡 Grammar tip – prepositions of place
in = inside: The ball is in the box.
on = on top of something: The cat is sitting on the chair.
under = below: My shoes are under the bed.
between = in the middle of two things: The table is between the lamps. Also: next to (beside), in front of and above.
