How a path works

Place yourself

Each path opens with a placement test – kids, adults or IELTS – so you enter at the right stage instead of page one.

Work through the stages

Stages are ordered by CEFR level. Inside a stage you study the lessons, then confirm with its tests before moving up. The path tells you what “done” looks like at every point.

Finish with proof

Every path ends at something measurable: a Cambridge-format test score, a B1 Preliminary result, an IELTS band from the examiners, or a CELPIP-format set score.

Quick answers

Can I follow two paths at once?

One main path works best. The exception: the IELTS and Canada paths both assume solid general English, so many learners run them right after – or alongside the end of – the adults path.

Do the paths cost anything?

No. Every lesson and test in every stage is free and self-marking. Only optional examiner reports for IELTS Writing and Speaking are paid.

How long does a stage take?

At 3–4 short sessions a week: kids typically spend 6–12 months per Cambridge level; adults 3–6 months per CEFR step; the IELTS path is built as 12 focused weeks.
