All English 4U · Teacher-Reviewed Report

Someone actually
reads it.

Your own test script, marked line by line by your teacher, with a twelve-week plan built from what she finds in it. Four places a week, because one person does the reading.

Not for you if: you have not sat one of our tests yet, you want a number the same afternoon, or you want someone to write your essays. The report is built on your own answers – there is nothing to review without them.

Four places open this week

Requests for this week close Sunday 23:59 Canada time.

No payment on this page. Your teacher replies with the payment link and two intake questions within one working day. If the week is already full, she tells you which week you are in.

What reviewed means

A band tells you where you are.
It does not tell you what to stop doing.

Our Writing and Speaking Examiner reports mark one piece of work against the official band descriptors, and for most learners that is enough. What one report cannot do is read across everything you have written, notice that the same construction has now cost you marks in three separate answers, and tell you which one to stop using this week. That is what a margin note is for.

Sample excerpt · Task 2, body paragraph

In my opinion, I think that1 governments should invest more money in public transport. There are many reasons for this2. Firstly, cars produce a lot of pollution and it is very bad3 for the environment of the city.

1Doubled opinion marker. Pick one. This is in eleven of your sentences – it is the single cheapest fix you have.
2An empty sentence. It announces reasons instead of giving one. Delete it and start with Firstly.
3Vague evaluation. Name the harm: raises particulate levels in dense districts. This is what holds your Lexical Resource at 6.

Every report is read and written by the same person – an MSc-qualified English teacher and former university lecturer who sat these exams herself on the way to Canadian permanent residence, and who has taught more than 5,000 learners since. More about her.

– Ms. Haeng Bui

What arrives

Four things, five working days after you submit your test

01

Your script, marked in the margin

Not a checklist against your work – notes beside the actual sentences, the way the excerpt above is marked.

02

A band judgement with its reasons

Four criteria, and for each one the sentence that decided it. You can disagree with her, but you can see what she read.

03

A twelve-week roadmap, week by week

Named pages on this site, in order, with what to do on each. The pages the roadmap sends you to are free.

04

One reply

You write back once with whatever the report raised. She answers. That is included, and it is the part people use most.

The twelve weeks

What the plan looks like
before you decide about money

The shape is fixed; the content is yours. Two learners at the same band get different weeks, because the report is written after reading their scripts, not before.

Weeks 1–4

Repair

The two or three errors that cost you the most marks, one at a time.

You rewrite three past answers. She named which three and what to change in each.

Weeks 5–8

Build

The gap that is not an error: range. Vocabulary and structures you avoid because you never learned them.

Named vocabulary and grammar pages on this site, in order, with the practice tests that check them.

Weeks 9–12

Rehearse

Full tests under time, until the band stops moving up and down.

Full practice tests here, plus one Examiner submission a week so you can see the line stabilise.

Why this is worth her time too

Reading scripts is how the site gets written

What you get

About two hours of one teacher’s attention on your English specifically, and a plan you can follow without paying for anything else.

What she gets

The mistakes real learners actually make, in their own words. The lessons on this site get written out of scripts like yours – which is why they are free and the reading is not.

The three questions people ask

$45 USD, once. No subscription, no account, nothing renews.

Why twelve weeks and not four

Because a band does not move in four. Twelve weeks is the shortest span over which a rewritten habit shows up in a test score, and it is short enough to still be inside most application deadlines.

Why $45

It is about two hours of one teacher reading, marking and planning. Priced under that, she would have to skim, and a skimmed report is worth nothing to you.

Why only four a week

Because the reading is not delegated and not automated. Four is what fits beside teaching. A fifth place would mean a faster read, and you would not be able to tell – which is exactly why the limit is real.

What happens if you disagree

Say so in your one reply. She will tell you what she read and why, or change her mind. Reports are judgements, not verdicts.

She replies with the payment link. Nothing is charged from this page.

Numbers that are actually true

670+

pages of lessons and practice published here. The roadmap points into them, and they stay free.

4

places a week. Never five, whatever the week looks like.

1

teacher reads, marks and signs every report. There is no team.

5

working days from your test submission to your inbox – the clock starts when you submit, not when you pay.

How a place works

Four steps, and one of them has a deadline

01

Request a place with the form on this page. This week’s four close Sunday 23:59 Canada time.

02

She emails you the payment link and two intake questions – your deadline, and what you think is holding you back. Within one working day.

03

You sit the full four-skill test – Listening, Reading, Writing, and three Speaking recordings, all included in the $45. After payment she emails your private test link and access code; you can split it into sittings within 24 hours.

04

The report and the roadmap arrive five working days after you submit the test. Then you write back once.

Already have a place

Pay for a confirmed place

If your teacher has written to you confirming your week, this is where you pay. After payment she emails your test access code; the five working days start the day you submit the test.

Please pay only after she has confirmed your place. If a payment arrives before that, she holds it for the next free week and writes to tell you which one.

This week

Ask for the place.
Decide after she writes.

Requesting costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You will know within one working day whether you have this week or the next.

Not ready for a report? The 14-day challenge is free and needs no card.
