1 Tier 1 – The Concept & Nuance: Actions Happening at the Moment
The Present Continuous (am / is / are + verb-ing) describes an action that is happening right now, at the moment of speaking, and has not yet finished.
– “Look at the sky! It is raining.”
– “They are having lunch in the garden.”
– “She isn’t wearing a coat.”
