About this CELPIP Writing practice test – Set 9, Test 1

Practise both CELPIP writing tasks under realistic conditions with this free test, modelled on the official CELPIP General exam. Like every test on All English 4U, it is free, requires no sign-up, and gives you instant results.

The real CELPIP Writing section has two tasks: writing an email (about 27 minutes) and responding to survey questions (about 26 minutes), each in 150–200 words. Both are typed on screen, and markers reward clear organisation and natural vocabulary over complicated sentences.

Teacher’s tip: always answer every part of the prompt – a missing bullet point costs more than a grammar slip.
