Narrator: Section one. You will hear a woman called Hannah phoning the Riverside Community Centre to enrol in an evening course. First, you have some time to look at questions one to ten.
Narrator: Now listen carefully, and answer questions one to ten.
Mark: Good evening, Riverside Community Centre, Mark speaking.
Hannah: Hello. I'd like to enrol in one of your evening courses. The photography course, if there are still places.
Mark: The photography course. Yes, we do have a few places left. Let me take your details and get you booked in.
Mark: Can I start with your name?
Hannah: Yes, it's Hannah Prentice.
Mark: Prentiss, was that? P, R, E, N, T, I, double S?
Hannah: No, it's Prentice with a C, E at the end. P, R, E, N, T, I, C, E.
Mark: Prentice. Got it.
Mark: And your address?
Hannah: It's eight Marsh Lane.
Mark: Marston Lane?
Hannah: No, Marsh. M, A, R, S, H. Marsh Lane.
Mark: Number eight, Marsh Lane. Lovely.
Mark: Now, which level would you like? We run a beginners' class and an intermediate one.
Hannah: The beginners' class, please.
Mark: Ah, I'm afraid beginners is completely full this term. We do still have room in the intermediate group, though.
Hannah: That's fine, actually. I've taken a few lessons before, so intermediate suits me.
Mark: Good. The beginners used to meet on Tuesdays, but the intermediate class runs on Thursday evenings.
Hannah: Thursday's perfect for me.
Hannah: It says six thirty on your website. Is that right?
Mark: That was last term, I'm afraid. From this term it starts a little later, at seven.
Hannah: Seven o'clock. Even better.
Hannah: And how many weeks does it run for? I thought it was eight.
Mark: It used to be eight, yes, but we've extended it to ten weeks this year. Same price, more classes.
Hannah: So what's the total cost?
Mark: The standard fee is eighty pounds. But as you're a student, there's a ten per cent discount, which brings it down to seventy-two.
Hannah: Seventy-two pounds. Great.
Hannah: Which room are we in?
Mark: Let me check. We were in room fourteen last year, but the class has moved. It's room four now, on the ground floor.
Mark: One or two things to bring to the first class. You won't need a laptop, the tutor has everything set up, and we supply the printing paper. But do bring your own camera, as we only have a couple to lend.
Hannah: And is there anything I need for the discount?
Mark: Yes. Just bring your student card along to the first class, and we'll apply the discount then.
Hannah: Will do. Thank you so much.
Mark: You're very welcome. See you on Thursday.
