About this CELPIP Writing practice test – Set 7, Test 2

This free CELPIP Writing practice test mirrors the writing section of the CELPIP General exam, the English test accepted by IRCC for Canadian permanent residence applications. Like every test on All English 4U, it is free, requires no sign-up, and gives you instant results.

The real CELPIP Writing section has two tasks: writing an email (about 27 minutes) and responding to survey questions (about 26 minutes), each in 150–200 words. Both are typed on screen, and markers reward clear organisation and natural vocabulary over complicated sentences.

Teacher’s tip: spend two minutes planning three bullet points before typing; CELPIP raters reward organisation more than rare vocabulary.
