Learning review · A Miniature Railway Open Day
Before you listen
Study the miniature railway picture carefully. Notice clothing, actions, signs and where each person is standing. In the form, predict whether each gap needs a name, day, place, number or object. For the picture choices, notice how the three options differ.
While you listen
Listen to each whole exchange. A speaker may suggest one thing and then choose another. Listen for corrections such as but, actually and instead. For the final picture, use both the landmark and the position to find the right pennant.
After you listen
Check spellings and details against what you heard. Make sure you followed the final choice after any change of plan. For the last picture, check the colour, position, number and exact word.
For Part 5, choose a colour and select the matching object; type the word for the station sign. Show Answer never enters an answer or awards marks.
