Before you start
Look at all the pictures before listening. Notice clothing, actions, museum places and the differences between the three choices. Predict whether each form gap needs a name, day, place, number or object.
Teacher tip

Child Boy: He is at the science table. He has round glasses and a red raincoat, and he is looking through a microscope.
Woman: I can see him leaning over it.

Child Boy: She is measuring a model boat beside the blue pool. She has a striped top and a purple skirt.
Woman: I can see the ruler in her hand.

Child Boy: That is Mark, with the curly hair and green backpack. He is pointing at a map.
Woman: Perhaps he is showing someone where to go.

Child Boy: She is drawing a crab on her clipboard. She is wearing yellow boots and a white cap, beside the rock-pool window.

Child Girl: On the map table. It can help visitors find the harbour.
Woman: Good idea.
Narrator: Number thirteen.
Woman: Jack, have you chosen the telescope?
Child Boy: No, I want the brass compass. It will point north beside the large wall map.
Woman: That will be useful.
Narrator: Number fourteen.
Woman: Sophie, where will the large life jacket go?
Child Girl: That one is too big. I will use the smaller orange life jacket and put it by the safety boat.
Woman: All right, beside the safety boat.

Child Boy: I changed my mind. My white kite looks like a seagull. I will hang it in the beach picture gallery.
