Common mistakes

  • Reading the object name but missing its colour or position.
  • Counting too quickly before checking the entire scene.
  • Writing more than one word in Part 5.
  • Forgetting that the first letter is already provided in Part 3.

Teacher tip

Remind young learners to look carefully at every detail in the pictures before answering. In Part 1 and Part 2, pay close attention to colors, positions, and numbers. In Part 3, note that the first letter is already in place. In Part 5, always check spelling and write only one word.
