Common mistakes

  • Reading the object name but missing its colour or position.
  • Counting too quickly before checking the entire scene.
  • Writing more than one word in Part 5.
  • Forgetting that the first letter is already provided in Part 3.

Teacher tip

Encourage learners to check each picture carefully before choosing an answer. In Part 2, pay close attention to what each person is doing. In Part 3, use the given first letter to guide spelling, and in Part 5, write only one word per answer.
