Common mistakes

  • Reading the object name but missing its colour or position.
  • Counting too quickly before checking the entire scene.
  • Writing more than one word in Part 5.
  • Forgetting that the first letter is already provided in Part 3.

Teacher tip

Encourage young learners to look closely at every picture detail before deciding on an answer. After finishing the test, have them read the full sentences aloud to strengthen vocabulary recall and build spoken confidence.
