Look and read — tick or cross
Look at each picture and sentence. Put a tick (✓) if the sentence is right, or a cross (✗) if it is wrong. Examples: “This is a frog.” → ✓ | “This is a sofa.” (table) → ✗
Look and read — write yes or no
Look at the picture and read the sentences. Write yes if the sentence is right, no if it is wrong. Examples: “There are two women in the picture.” → yes | “This is a bookshop.” → no
Look at the pictures — write the words
Look at each picture (a part of the body). Read the letters on the head to spell the word. Example: a face, letters f/a/c/e → face

Read the riddle. Choose a word from the word bank below to fill each gap. There is one example.
A TEACHER
I stand in a classroom and say, “Sit on your [1], please, children.” I write words on the [2] on the wall. I give the children their [3], then they draw pictures with them.
