Superlatives

When we compare three or more things or people, we use the superlative form. Pick the one most among them. Add -est or most to make superlatives.

Rules: add -est for one-syllable (long→the longest); double the consonant for ending in one vowel + consonant (big→the biggest); for those ending in y change to i and add -est (happy→the happiest); add most for two or more syllables (difficult→the most difficult); irregular: good→the best, bad→the worst.
