Adjectives describe nouns. Adverbs describe verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs.
Rules: add -ly to most adjectives (slow→slowly); for adjectives ending in y, change to i and add -ly (happy→happily); no change (hard, fast, late); irregular (good→well).
