You will hear five short conversations. You will hear each conversation twice. There is one question for each conversation. For questions 1–5, choose the right answer (A, B or C).
This is the Key English Test, Paper 2 Listening, Test 4.

Q1 — Which is Tom’s mother?
Woman: Is that your mother with the hat, Tom?
Tom: She never wears a hat.
Woman: Has she still got glasses and long hair?
Tom: Her hair’s short now. But she still wears glasses. (A)
Q2 — Where will the beach party be?
Man: Going to the beach party tonight?
Jane: Is it in the same place as last week’s — by the boats?
Man: It’s going to be by the trees this time. (C — trees)
Q3 — What will Fiona wear to the dance?
Fiona: Shall I wear this skirt or my new trousers to the dance, Mum?
Mother: What about your blue dress, Fiona?
Fiona: If it’s clean, I’ll wear that.

Mother: Get some fruit — green cooking apples and some oranges.

Sonya's family — how old is each person?
Listen to Sonya talking to Martin about her family. How old are her brothers and sisters? For questions 6–10, write a letter A–H. You will hear the conversation twice.
Martin: You’ve got a big family, Sonya, haven’t you?
Sonya: There are six children and I’m twenty and the oldest. (example: Sonya = H twenty)
Martin: Vivienne had her fifteenth birthday last month, didn’t she?
Sonya: That was Sally. (6 Sally = F fifteen) Vivienne is two years younger — she’s only thirteen! (7 Vivienne = E thirteen)

A park in the mountains
Listen to a woman asking a travel agent for information about a park in the mountains. For questions 11–15, choose A, B or C.
Man: Can I help you?
Woman: I’d like information about the mountain park. First, somewhere to stay.
Man: There’s nothing in the park, just a small café. The nearest guest-house is in a village a few kilometres away. (11 = A café)
Woman: Has the village got somewhere to buy food or a cinema?
Man: Just a small supermarket that sells food. (12 = C food shop)
Woman: Can I take my car to the park?
Man: You must leave it at the entrance. Visitors must walk through the park. (13 = C on foot)
Man: Mondays to Fridays everyone pays twelve dollars, but weekends it’s thirteen for children and sixteen for adults. (14 = A $12)
Woman: Will I see any animals next month?
Man: I don’t think so. But there won’t be any snow and the flowers will be beautiful. (15 = B flowers)
