📘 Plural Nouns — the rules
For regular plural nouns, we add -s, -es, -ves or -ies to singular nouns.

| Add -s to most words. | a book | books |
| Add -es after s, ss, sh, ch, x. | a bus | buses |
| Erase y, add -ies (consonant + y). | a baby | babies |
| Add -s (vowel + y). | a key | keys |
| Erase f / fe, add -ves. | a leaf | leaves |
Irregular plurals have no rule:
